freedom update

In case anyone was wondering, now that I'm living alone for the first time in my whole life, I have been:
  • eating mostly frozen or pre-prepared foods
  • sometimes eating them in bed
  • leaving my laundry in a pile after it's been washed
  • watching CSI or Law & Order repeats almost endlessly
  • playing computer games AT THE SAME TIME AS WATCHING TV
  • acquiring mounds of plastic bottles and aluminum cans because I have TOTALLY forgotten when the recycling goes out

How good am I at predictions? Check here.

So much for freedom...

Let's see, I've been living alone for virtually all of the last 14 years. Frozen and packaged food: check. In bed: no, but there's no TV in the bedroom. Laundry: always gets put away, hate piles of clean clothes. Watching endless reruns: no, but ONLY because I don't have cable. Simultaneous computer/TV: yes. Recyclables piling up: not applicable, but if I were on city trash, I'd know the schedule.

So the only real difference is I put away my laundry and divest myself of recyclables on a semiregular basis. If I had more TVs and more channels, I'd watch the hell out of them. So you're not doing so bad, all in all. Or else we're both doing terrible.
